Valheim is a Viking-themed game, so they wouldn’t criticize you for wanting to know if there are any underwater game elements to uncover. After all, sailing is an important part of Viking mythology. Plus, the game includes a fairly large ocean biome to explore. As a result, we’ve attempted to learn how to dive in order to make your aquatic explorations a little convenient!
How to Dive
- There is currently no particular control you can use to dive deep sea. Alternatively, you can submerge your character by leaping from an elevated vantage point.
- It can be anything! From a nearby building’s roof to a cliff on the beach. As long as you acquire momentum on the way down.
- Following that, you’ll have a limited amount of period to swim underwater and gather the resources at your disposal before coming back to the water’s surface.
- The E button is pressed in front of the materials that can be picked up to accomplish this.
- Because of how fast you can rise to the surface, we advise pressing the E button as soon as possible! This ensures that you retrieve as much as possible.
Resources + Tips and Tricks
- Diving only works for looting resources in shallow water.
- Consider the following scenario: you directly or indirectly broke your boat in a river, and the nails sank, rendering them unreachable.
- Despite its simplicity, this method has the capability to recover difficult-to-recover resources such as bronze and iron.
- You will easily obtain resources if you aim well and have slots in your inventory.
- This isn’t the best way to gather underwater raw materials, but keep in mind that Valheim is still in Early Access!
Ships and Sea
The game is far from complete, and its creators intend to add a few more game features before releasing the full version. Because the materials appear to be underwater, the relevant controls for underwater crossing are almost certainly included on this list.
Valheim’s developer has already provided us a sneak peek at what we can expect in the long run via their shared road map schedule. As a third update, we’ll get “Ships and the Sea,” which we’re holding out hope will include a full-fledged diving feature as well!
